Life in a student residence offers students a unique opportunity to live in a community, share experiences and meet new people. However, to make the experience a pleasant one for all, it's essential to establish rules for living together.

Communication, the key to community life

Communication is the key to community life in a student residence! It's important to encourage open and respectful communication between all tenants. This means actively listening to each other's concerns, but also expressing oneself. When everyone feels listened to and respected, it's much easier to find compromises and maintain positive relationships.

Respecting common spaces and equipment for tenants

Common spaces such as coworking rooms, sports halls, laundry facilities... are available to all tenants. So it's essential to keep them clean and in good repair. Make sure you clean up after yourself, put your belongings away and respect the specific operating rules for each space. Shared equipment must be used with care and returned in the same condition as before use. In coworking rooms, please respect students' need for silence and calm. It's important to turn off the ringer on your phone, and to move away if you're on the phone. Use headphones if you want to listen to music or watch videos.

Beware of noise pollution in student residences

For the comfort of all tenants, it's important to be careful not to disturb the peace and quiet of your neighbors. It is forbidden to make noise between 10pm and 7am. Residents must not disturb their neighbors with the volume of music, radio, video games or television.

Keeping an eye on cleanliness also means respecting others

It's important for all residents to respect the rules of hygiene in the common areas of the student residence (corridors, bike room, garbage garbage cans, elevator, common room, gym, etc.), such as not leaving your shoes in the middle of the corridor or your garbage in front of the entrance to your accommodation.

Community life at FAC-HABITAT!

Most of the time, FAC-HABITAT teams are on site in the student residences. The maintenance and upkeep managers (CEM) are present and available during their working hours to answer all your technical questions. For administrative matters, please contact your rental advisor directly. And don't forget! You can also use the FAC-HABITAT web app (www.en.mon-appli-fac-habitat.fr) to report an incident, or write us a message about your rental file.

By contributing to all this advice, tenants can live in a pleasant and respectful environment in their student residence!
